Standard Colors Used in U.S. Government Procurement
Aerospace Material Specification - Standard 595A
The Color Standard AMS Standard 595 is since 2014 issued by the US Government General Services Administration (GSA/SAE). The standard defines a color index system used by, but not limited to, government activities in a format suitable for color identification, color selection, color matching and quality control inspection. Fandecks are to be used for the purpose of general color representation only.  FED- STD-595 and all associated slash sheets are canceled. AMS-STD-595 supersedes FED-STD-595. AMS-STD-595 is a trademark of GSA/SAE. The names below are the most commonly used names. Use color numbers instead of the color names.
